Amaç ve İçerik

Dersin Amacı Bu giriş dersi, öğrencilere kişisel ve mesleki alanda açık, saygılı, özlü, tam ve doğru bir şekilde İngilizce iletişim kurmalarını öğretecektir. Sözlü, yazılı, kişilerarası, teknolojik ve istihdama yönelik iletişim yetkinliği geliştirilecektir. Dinleme becerileri dönem boyunca dahil edilecektir. Bu derste öncelikli hedef, öğrencilerin etkili iletişim kurabilmeleri için eksiksiz bir altyapı sağlamaktır.
Dersin İçeriği Nasıl etkin öğrenilir, kolay ve etkili öğrenme için nasıl stratejiler geliştirilir. Daha iyi eğitim ya da sınav stratejileri için geliştirilmiş bellek teknikleri. Dersin içeriği, akademik dil becerilerini öğretmek için, mesleğin çeşitli alanlarında ve onların çalışmaları ile ilgili sıklıkla kullanılan Mesleki İngilizce'nin dil yapılarını ve fonksiyonlarını kapsayan uygun bir ortamı kapsamaktadır.
