Purpose and Content

The aim of the course The aim of this course is to promote an understanding in the students about formative assessment tools and rubrics in language teaching and help them to understand that they need to use assessment for language learning purposes.
Course Content The topics covered include the design of performance tasks and rubrics; project & portfolio assessment; designing classroom assessment tasks & scoring guides.
