Purpose and Content

The aim of the course The purpose of this course is to give information about the study of language in the context of the society in which it is spoken; this sociolinguistic information is given to the learners about the study areas and formats, the different uses of language in society, and the way these differences vary by region, social class, and ethnicity. At the end of the course, the students will be able to learn how language use has changed in a society with language teaching.
