Purpose and Content

The aim of the course This is an applied course aimed at familiarizing teacher trainees with a popular and effective 21st century teaching tool, namely Philosophy for Children and Communities (P4C).
Course Content During this course, the teacher trainees will learn about what P4C is, how it emerged, what its benefits are, what tools a P4C facilitator uses, how to find a good P4C stimulus and how to form philosophical questions based on a stimulus. They will also be provided the opportunity to apply what they have learned with online (or face-to-face, depending on the pandemic) workshops.
