Purpose and Content

The aim of the course The purpose of the course is to introduce other sub fields of linguistics while widening the prospective teachers' horizons about the richness of language and make them be aware of the ways of different uses.
Course Content The prospective teachers will study some other sub-branches of linguistics such as pragmatics, discourse analysis, semantics, sociolinguistics, and the history of English language
