Purpose and Content

The aim of the course To identify the principles of material development to achieve the objectives of ELT. To acquire the skills necessary to adapt and develop lesson materials to achieve course objectives.
Course Content Using field-specific teaching technologies; types of software and usage purposes; design and development principles of materials to be used in teaching the field; determination of material needs; designing two and three dimensional teaching materials; worksheets; transparencies; VCD, DVD, MP3 and MP4 files etc. development of teaching materials; evaluation of classroom practices for different teaching materials.
