Purpose and Content

The aim of the course Defining the types of scoliosis according to age, etiology and affected spinal segment. Knowing the necessary posture analysis and evaluation components in scoliosis and applying them on the patient. Learning exercise modalities used in the treatment of scoliosis. Knowing the bracing methods used in scoliosis. Distinguishing scoliosis from other spine disorders.
Course Content In the course of physiotherapy and rehabilitation in scoliosis, the definition, classification, etiology and pathology of scoliosis, evaluation methods used in scoliosis, interpretation of the data resulting from the evaluation, two-dimensional and three-dimensional exercise treatment modalities in scoliosis are explained.
