Purpose and Content

The aim of the course To increase the knowledge and skills needed by physiotherapists in the field of rheumatological rehabilitation by showing the mechanisms of occurrence of rheumatic diseases, types of diseases, and the reasons for the need for physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
Course Content In this course, the definition, pathophysiology and classification of rheumatic diseases, clinical presentations in these diseases, functional deficiencies seen, treatment methods used, orthosis applications, surgical interventions, possible complications and their prevention, and problems such as deformity, contracture and muscle weakness that may be encountered in certain rheumatic diseases will be examined according to the diseases.
