Purpose and Content

The aim of the course	The aim of this course is; to teach the principles of statistics, to gain the ability to collect, classify and summarize data using this information.
Course Content	This course covers the following topics: 'Emphasizes the definition, importance and the place of biostatistics in health science', 'Overview of table and graphic representation of the submission of data', 'Descriptive statistics', 'Sampling methods', 'Rules of probability', 'Statistical relationships and General information about decision making'.

Learning Outcomes

All graduates can assess and plan physiotherapy and rehabilitation protocols by using quantitative and qualitative principals and concepts in physiotherapy and rehabilitation field.
All graduates apply physiotherapy and rehabilitation program by using further level knowledge and skills with in the order of systematically and safely ethic rules; finish or change treatment protocols if necessary
Creates protective / improving physiotherapy programs for healthy people
Gains the ability to use current apparatus and equipment safely in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation and follows current developments in this field.
Can use computer, statistics, information and communication technologies as required by the field
All graduates have innovative behavior to protect public health; contribute to produce health politics for the changing and varying necessities on physiotherapy and rehabilitation field.
Maintains personal development and lifelong learning; contributes quality improvement, educational and promotional programs related to the field; exhibits professional behavior at the international level.
Can use at least one foreign language in order to follow current treatment approaches and academic advances
