Purpose and Content

The aim of the course The aim of this course; is to give basic knowledge about definition, content, historical, development and applications of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, regulations, teamwork, communication, general ethics and specific ethical principles of physiotherapy.
Course Content This course covers the following topics: 'The history of physiotherapy', 'Definition of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation and Physiotherapist', 'Duties and responsibilities of Physiotherapist', 'Multidisciplinary approach', 'Ethical principles in the health field', 'Relationship of health personnel - patient - patient relatives', 'Patients' rights', 'Ethics in clinical practice', and 'Research ethics'.
