Purpose and Content

The aim of the course The aim of this course; is to comprehend the basic methods used in the evaluation of orthopedic problems and musculoskeletal system injuries that require or do not require surgery, and to develop the ability to apply appropriate physiotherapy rehabilitation approaches.
Course Content This course covers the following topics: 'General principles of orthopaedic rehabilitation', 'Early or late rehabilitation approaches used in all orthopaedic diseases, soft tissue and sports injuries that require or do not require surgery', 'Rehabilitation approaches after fractures', 'Bandage application techniques', 'Theoretical and practical sample applications'.

3General principles of treatment of fractures and fracture rehabilitation
4Soft Tissue Pathology and Rehabilitation.
5Hand surgery, functional anatomy and rehabilitation, tendon and nerve injuries and rehabilitation
6Rehabilitation of elbow pathology.
7Shoulder rotator cuff pathologies, bursitis and rehabilitation approaches in periarthritis.
8Shoulder arthroplasty and rehabilitation
9Midterm
10Rehabilitation of hip pathology
11Rehabilitation in knee pathology (knee ligament, meniscus and cartilage pathologies)
12Knee arthroplasty and rehabilitation
13Waist and neck pain in non-surgical and surgical treatments, physiotherapy and rehabilitation approaches
