<p>​</p><p>Istanbul Aydın University (IAU) Faculty of Education Department of Preschool Teaching 2nd&#160;&#160;grade students organized &quot;Math Festival&quot; for their final exam of Math Teaching in Early Childhood course.<br/></p><p>Istanbul Aydın University (IAU) Faculty of Education Department of Preschool Teaching 2nd grade students organized &quot;Math Festival&quot; for their final exam of Math Teaching in Early Childhood course. The students planned 10 math educationmaterials and games to play at least 10 games in the luggage they organized with the slogan &quot;A Luggage Many Games&quot;. The students shared and played more than 700 creative early childhood math games and education materials at the festival. Prof. Dr. BelmaTuğrul, instructor of the course, stated &quot;In the next stage, it is planned that students will use the materials and will play prepared games with children in kindergartens in Istanbul, provided that the necessary measures and official permissions are taken within the scope of Covid-19 measures.&quot; Students remarked that they had an unforgettable final exam via the Math Festival they had a chance to apply knowledge they had gained theoretically.<br/></p><p>&#160;Prof. Dr. Tuğrul mentioned &quot;Developing positive feelings and thoughts for math which means connecting with the daily life, understanding the world, problem solving, using thinking skill, is possible with a game based approach starting from the early childhood age.&quot;<br/></p><p><br/></p>
