 Digital Commerce And Online Shopping Are Different Concepts

 Are digital commerce and electronic commerce concepts different from each other? Dr. Adil Salepçioğlu remarked that these two concepts are different from each other and the digital commerce concept can be stated as a more superior.

Digital shopping companies and virtual stores/online stores are different. The main difference between them is the business model. On the other hand, while digital company sites strategically first create a market, then create trade in that market before the pandemic, strategically switched to a business practice that suits people&#39;s expectations after the pandemic, in other words, they started to create supply that changes according to the increased demand.&quot;</span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>VIRTUAL COMMERCE WAS SUPPORTED WITH CORRECT STRATEGIES IN THE PANDEMIC </strong></p><p style="text-align: justify;">Dr. Salepçioğlu said &quot;market size in digital commerce is determined according to commerce competencies and technological level. When it comes to virtual store applications, these are e-commerce sites that already exist. Here, the firms that harmonize technology and business model, enabled local stores to use potential market in demand boom in the pandemic conditions. By supporting the already existing virtual commerce in terms of business strategy with correct strategies, they transformed it into a structure that conditions created and succeeded. It is important to understand correctly the business model here. Also, it would be proper to separate these with management-organization models called positioning and virtual organizations that provide network, in other words, use network-type operating modes.&quot;</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>&quot;E-COMMERCE IS MORE ADVANTAGEOUS THAN STORE FOR CONSUMER&quot;</strong></p><p style="text-align: justify;">Dr. Salepçioğlu stated &quot;Digital companies and e-commerce sites with very low cost parameters among their sales figures, can achieve product and service procurance with cost advantage cheaper, easier and faster than normal store and local shopping stores. In addition, being different from online virtual stores, as business model, digital commerce organizations sell the time to customers with technological investments that will transform trade besides providing customers to access products sold in market. Digital commerce will continue after the pandemic as an opportunity that consumers will increasingly experience with the technological competencies, logistic infrastructure and correct marketing strategies.&quot;<br/></p><p><br/></p>
