<p style="text-align: center;">​</p><div style="text-align: center;"> <strong>AFRICAN STUDIES STUDENT CONGRESS</strong></div><div style="text-align: center;"> <strong>19 April 2017, Istanbul Aydın University, Florya Campus</strong></div>&#160;<div style="text-align: justify;">Turkey-Africa relations and the interest on African affairs has been growing exponentially for the last decade or so not only in the field of economics but also in education, migration, culture, healthcare etc.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Although the number of academic research on Africa has grown together with the academic centers established at a variety of universities, there are still many challenges laying ahead. To develop a more robust co-operation and to improve mutual understanding, competitiveness, trade and investments between Turkey and the African continent, more work and academic input is needed.&#160;</div><div style="text-align: justify;">In that vein, African Studies Student Congress will be organized by Istanbul Aydın University Africa Application and Research Center to gather young students and researchers in Turkey who will share their work on Africa in order to create networks and have collaborations that can improve African research and studies in Turkey. <a href="/haberler/Documents/program.pdf" rtenodeid="23"><strong>For the program of the Congress</strong></a></div><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="text-align: justify;">In addition to the panels, we are planning to organize “Turkish Business to African Students” networking event that will bring together Turkish companies doing business in Africa and looking for interns/partime-fulltime students with students from African Countries. &#160;<a href="/haberler/Documents/company_list.pdf" rtenodeid="24"><strong>For the list of the companies<span id="ms-rterangecursor-start" aria-hidden="true" rtenodeid="22"></span><span id="ms-rterangecursor-end" aria-hidden="true"></span></strong></a></div>
