<p></p><span id="ms-rterangepaste-start" aria-hidden="true"></span><p style="text-align: justify;">Students who want to attend 2nd foreign language courses are required to take the <strong>ONLINE (UNSUPERVISED</strong>) English exam to be held on <strong>Sunday, November 5.</strong> </p><p style="text-align: justify;">-In order to participate in the exam, it is necessary to apply from the "2. Yabancı Dil Sınav Başvurusu/2nd Foreign Language Exam Application" section on Ubist and choose which of the following language types you want to participate in.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"> - <strong>The deadline for application is 01.11.2023 Wednesday at 23:59.</strong></p><p style="text-align: justify;">-The time of the exam/exam entry link will be announced after the applications are completed and evaluated.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">-Based on the results of the exam, depending on the quota of the courses, the students who can attend the 2nd foreign language courses will be determined.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">-As a result of this evaluation, the list of students who are eligible to attend the courses will be announced on Ubis system.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>2nd Foreign Language Coordinator: Lecturer Ufuk Serengil
[email protected]</strong></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>2nd Foreign Language Courses and How They Work</strong></p><p style="text-align: justify;">At Istanbul Aydın University, students are offered Chinese, German, French, Russian and Arabic free of charge in Second Foreign Language courses. The courses will be held 3 days a week for 9 hours between 17.00-20.00 pm and will cover an intensive education process until the end of the spring semester. Students are obliged to attend the courses regularly. Students who are absent from the second foreign language courses are considered unsuccessful, their registration is deleted and they cannot receive a certificate.  Students who are successful in the exams to be held at the end of the course are entitled to receive a B1 certificate. Courses are free of charge. The curriculum, prepared in line with the Common European Union Language Criteria, aims to improve reading, comprehension, writing and speaking skills. It also offers the opportunity to explore the culture of the language being learned.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">The aim of these courses is to make students love the target language and realize how important a second foreign language is in their future lives. They also give them the opportunity to get to know a different culture and compare it with their own.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">The courses will start in November and continue until the end of the academic year. </p><p>Note There are no credits for the courses.
