Purpose and Content

The aim of the course To introduce children's literature in the world and in Turkey, to make them comprehend its importance in the profession, to ensure that Turkish mother tongue activities are planned and implemented correctly, to introduce qualified children's literature types, to convey the relationship between children's literature and development.
Course Content Children's publications and children's literature concepts and related concepts, Children's Literature in the World and in Turkey, Contribution of children's literature to the development of children, selection of books according to age, Internal and external structure features of children's books, Types of children's literature, storytelling and reading techniques, while preparing children's books principles to be considered, preparing books suitable for different ages, writing stories, telling and reading practices with different methods
