Purpose and Content

The aim of the course In general, to grow up an individual with rights-based approach. To gain the understanding of what and how to do when rights violation or deprivation of rights towards children occures. to provide a rights-based approach to entire issues faced.
Course Content 1-Main principles of children?s rights. 2- Fundamental rights recognized by the U.N. Children's Rights Convention. 3- Child Abuse and approach to child abuse victims. 4- Protective and supportive measures for child victims of abuse and neglect. 5- Juvenile Justice System and features.

1Week 1 General information about law and main texts of Juvenille Justice Sysytem.
2Week 2 Childs definition in Law and general approachs
3Week 3 Main principles of Children?s rights1- Prohibition of discrimination (The principle of equality) The principle of protection of the child's best interestsInvestigating and studying on the cases students face in the field.
4Week 4 Main Principles 1- Child?s life, development and Survival Right 2- Child?s right to Express his views.
5Week 5 Parent?s Custody on the child and legislation; limitations on legislation in accordance with Children?s Rights
