Purpose and Content

The aim of the course	To gain knowledge about the basic concepts and factors affecting mother and child health, prenatal development,pregnancy and birth processes, family planning services, neonatal development and reproductive and immune systems
Course Content	The importance of mother-child health, Turkey and the world about the current situation, the factors affecting women's health, pregnancy, childbirth and frequently encountered in the last period of health problems, reproductive health, neonatal health, nursing (lactation), sexually transmitted diseases, women often display the importance of early diagnosis to cancer and things to do, violence against women and children, and important health indicators related to child health in Turkey.

Course Content

The importance of mother-child health, Turkey and the world about the current situation, the factors affecting women's health, pregnancy, childbirth and frequently encountered in the last period of health problems, reproductive health, neonatal health, nursing (lactation), sexually transmitted diseases, women often display the importance of early diagnosis to cancer and things to do, violence against women and children, and important health indicators related to child health in Turkey.

Learning Outcomes

To choose and use efficiently contemporary techniques and means as well as information technologies required for the applications related to the field of study
To have the capability to design, plan and realize the projects by using the vocational settings and tools in the related field of study
Advanced theoretical and practical knowledge are acquired in the field to use.
To be able to interpret and evaluate data by using the knowledge and skills acquired in the field, to analyze, to develop solutions based on research and evidence.

To provide to raise awareness of community in related field.
To develeop strategies related to prevent child abuse and violence against to child.

Weekly Course Subjects

1	The importance of mother-child health, reproductive health and basic concepts of ilkeleri.türki and problems with women's health in the world.
2	Turkey regarding mother-child health and related indicators in the world available durum.ann and Children's Health.
3	Anatomy and physiology of reproductive system, formation of pregnancy. Prenatal, postpartum and postpartum Maternal health.
4	Health protection, development and health problems encountered during pregnancy. Intrauterine (pre-natal) development.
5	Health protection, development and health problems encountered at birth.
6	Protection and development of health in postpartum and health problems encountered, precautions to be taken. The importance of breastfeeding and breastfeeding techniques.
7	Protection, development and health problems of newborns and precautions to be taken.
8	Visa exam.
9	Care and development of the newborn and the baby.
10	Immunization. Vaccines to be given during infancy and childhood and their importance.
11	General principles for the protection and promotion of women's, newborn and child health Installed Files None.
12	Cancers common in women. Sexually transmitted diseases.
13	Family Planning Infertility (Infertility)and menopause.
