Purpose and Content

The aim of the course To ensure that students present their work for different purposes accurately and impressively in order to use it on various platforms in their professional lives. For this purpose, learning to use various and contemporary media opportunities.
Course Content To explain what needs to be done to prepare the presentation appropriately for the purpose. To ensure that students re-evaluate and improve the presentations of their previous work every week in line with these explanations. To ensure that they have an impressive and correctly organized portfolio that they will use in their professional lives.

Weekly Course Subjects

1Introduction of the course, purpose, content, learning outcomes and learning-teaching methods.
2Examination of portfolio preparation techniques through examples, explanations of what should and should not be included in portfolio designs, portfolio cover and personal logo preparation.
3Examination of CV preparation techniques through examples, explanation of what should and should not be included in CV designs. Criticism and correction of portfolio cover and personal logo designs prepared by students.
41st Midterm Submission (Portfolio cover and personal logo designs) Criticism and correction of "about me" and "curriculum vitae" designs prepared by students.
5Examination of project presentation techniques through examples, explanation of the issues to be taken into consideration when preparing the presentation sheet. Criticism and correction of Turkish-English about me and CV designs prepared by students.
6Criticism and correction of the projects to be organized after the students bring and select the projects they want to present in their portfolio designs.
7After creating the Contents sections in the context of the projects that the students want to present in their portfolio designs, criticism and correction of the aspects that are open to improvement.
8Explanation of the importance of the Layout concept in portfolio designs and the points to be considered. Explanation and review of general topics for the midterm exam.
9Midterm Exam Week
10Developing architectural visualization techniques for plans, sections and views of the projects to be presented in the context of portfolio design.
11Criticizing and correcting the weak modeling studies and rendering visuals of the projects to be presented and deciding on the visuals to be included in the portfolio.
12Midterm Submission (Preparing the presentation of a project selected from the portfolio with Google Slides and presenting it sequentially in the classroom environment)
13Criticism and correction of the prepared portfolio designs by checking them on computer.
14Final criticism and correction of all portfolio designs, including the front and back covers, on computer and via hardcopy. General topic explanation and review for the final exam.
