Purpose and Content

The aim of the course The aim is to enhance students' skills in exploring, understanding, and analyzing design problems related to "space-environment-place". In this context, concepts of "diversity, identity, and sense of place" are unfolded in relation to the discipline of architecture in the project workshop.
Course Content Students understand the fundamental architectural concepts of design problems by reinterpreting existing models, and they express and present their ideas and proposals through computer-aided presentations and models.

Weekly Course Subjects

1The project topic and site are presented, providing information and introducing the content.
2Analysis of the project area is conducted, and diagrams are prepared.
3Preparation work and concept submission and evaluation are completed before the midterm exam period.
4A Preliminary Design is prepared at a scale of 1:500.
5A Preliminary Design is prepared at a scale of 1:500.
6A Preliminary Design is prepared at a scale of 1:500.
7Delivery and evaluation of the Preliminary Design Development Work during the Midterm Phase.
8MIDTERM EXAMS WEEK
9A Detailed Design is prepared at a scale of 1:200.
10A Detailed Design is prepared at a scale of 1:200.
11A Detailed Design is prepared at a scale of 1:200.
12Delivery and evaluation of the Design Development Work during the Pre-Final Submission before the Final Exam Period.
13Completion of the Detailed Design work at a scale of 1:200 and preparation of presentation materials.
