Purpose and Content

The aim of the course The aim of this course is to convey how architectural theory and practice have evolved from the Ottoman Westernization period to the present day in parallel with economic, political, social, and technological changes.
Course Content Within the scope of this course, the changing spatial requirements and rapid transformation of cities, triggered by the political and social transformation of the Westernization period, are conveyed through key structures.
