Purpose and Content

The aim of the course The aim is to learn the concepts of management, management of design processes and architectural services, planning and management of the construction phase, concepts in the management process with computer-aided applications and the use of tools.
Course Content The concept of project and construction management, the roles of the designer, owner, general contractor and construction manager, project management knowledge areas, relevant methods for planning, supervision and control and an overview of management problems, project life cycle, contracts, project delivery approaches, planning, bidding, tendering, time planning, critical success indicators, auditing of projects and related current issues are within the scope of this course.
