Purpose and Content

The aim of the course Form and content, language, visuality, suitability for student level, attractiveness, contribution to meaningful learning, ease of use in teaching, etc. of Turkish textbooks approved by the Ministry of National Education. Examining with a critical perspective within the scope of principles.
Course Content To know the place of the textbook in teaching as one of the most important materials of a course. Mastering the textbook writing processes. Benefiting from the world's knowledge in the field of textbook analysis. Recognizing the importance of the selection and genre diversity of the texts to be included in the textbooks. The use and function of the page layout and graphic elements in the textbooks and their practical demonstration on the textbooks created according to different understandings. Carrying out the necessary studies so that each prospective teacher can critically examine the Turkish textbook used in the field and write an evaluation report.
