Purpose and Content

The aim of the course The aim of this course is to help students, who are teachers of the future, to understand child psychology and to understand the importance of mental health.

5Theoretical approaches to development: Emotional development (Freud, Erikson)

7Social development (Erikson, Kohlberg)
8Sexual development (Freud)
9Child's immediate environment: family, friend, teacher
10The importance of play in childhood and play theories
11Interests in children: Painting, music, sports, books, etc.
12Adjustment and behavioral disorders in children
13Approach to problem children
14Summing up and general evaluation of the course
