Purpose and Content

The aim of the course The purpose of the course is present the required information about needs and problems of children, childhood and adolescent characteristics, children, the ill-treatment of medical, legal, social and cultural aspects of the analysis, child abuse and neglect of children in need of protection of economic, social and psychological problems discussed, and social work practices with children and families, children for case management strategies on the basis of the eco-system.
Course Content This course sovers topics such as understanding the structure of the child welfare policies child and family-centered services, analysis of economic and social security of families with children, child maltreatment, case studies, physical exploited children prevention and treatment of sexual abuse, child abuse and children suffering from psychological maltreatment, juvenile delinquincy, child welfare and family support, systems of child resisdence, and adoption through child care centers, investigation of child welfare services organizations, evaluation of the vision and missions of related institutions and organizations, selection of related employees and their training.
