Purpose and Content

The aim of the course This course is aimed to inform social work students to the study of human societies, social forces, and collective behaviour patterns. The main focus of the course is included to examine of contemporary problems, such as poverty, immigration, terror, divorces, social security, education, health and etc. fields of problem. Generally, aim to argue important social problems related with humanity and in particular to the realities of Turkish Communities’ problems reasons and its solution ways.
Course Content The concept of social problems, Industrial Revolution and new social problem areas, analysis and solutions of social problems, the impact of industrialization - social cultural and political structure on social problems, social policies as a tool for the solution of social problems.
