Purpose and Content

The aim of the course The purpose of this course is to make the students be familiar with the main concepts of psychology and learn the theories of the fundamental psychological schools. In addition to this, another objective of this course is to make the students gain the interest and ability to read psychological publishments.
Course Content In this course, students will study the basic areas psychology includes as a scientific discipline and the historical evolution of psychology will be approached. Basic psychological schools such as behaviorism and psychoanalysis that are the pioneers of the evolution of psychological scientific thinking will also be studied during this course.
