Purpose and Content

The aim of the course The aim of this course is to enable students to gain knowledge about the basic concepts of gender and its roles and to understand the importance of gender sensitivity in social work practices.
Course Content It includes the concepts of sex and gender, different approaches to gender inequality, gender stereotypes, gender roles, gender discrimination, and combating gender inequality in terms of national and international legislation.
