Purpose and Content

The aim of the course The aim of this course is to gain the students knowledge and application skills about roles and functions of industrial social worker.
Course Content The course includes subjects as development of industrial social work, relations between labor and industrial theories, labor process in industrial relations, the labor market, fordist mass production, flexible specialization and post-fordism, modern management techniques in industrial relations, gender, patriarchy, ethnicity and labor markets, globalization and unemployment, relation unionism-democracy, the process of industrialization in Turkey, activities of unionism in Turkey, globalization and the transformation of industrial relations in Turkey.
