Purpose and Content

The aim of the course The aim of this course is to provide the students knowledge about basic theories and approaches in terms of generalist social work practices.
Course Content The course includes subjects as social work theories, cultural extent of social work theory, system and ecosystem theory, psycho-dynamic approaches, empowerment approach and solution-focused interview, psycho-social approach, problem solving approach, family therapy, crisis and crisis intervention, functional approach, social constructivist approach, integration and use of theories in the intervention processes.
