Purpose and Content

The aim of the course	This course aims to teach the use of surfaces in developing graphical thinking skills and visual communication elements. It also aims to combine the graphical elements with the message to be conveyed in parallel with the identity of the settling.
Course Content	Perception and concept of perception. Types of perception. Organizing functions of perception. Attitude and perception. Theoretical approaches to perception. Models of human behaviour. Incentive communication and attitude change.

Learning Outcomes

Knows the theoretical knowledge, principles and concepts of visual communication design.
Describes the computer programs used for design with their features.
Understands the aesthetic rules of design.
Refers to New Media technologies.
Has the ability to identify, interpret and solve complex design problems of cultures and nations.
Knows the complex designs of cultures and nations scientifically, socially, economically, legally and politically.
Define national and international ethical rules, legislation and quality standards in the field of visual communication design.
Distinguish the features of works designed in the field of visual communication.
Analyzes methods and techniques related to the field of Visual Communication Design.
Examines and conveys the main lines of a visual communication design process.
Applies the tools and techniques required for visual communication design in the New Media environment.
Applies scientific research and development studies for visual communication design applications.

Analyzes, compares and applies multi-dimensional design with individual and collective studies in line with the determined needs.
Creates creative and powerful designs individually and / or in groups.
Synthesizes research and development projects with a critical approach in order to find solutions to problems in the field of visual communication design from various perspectives.
