Purpose and Content

The aim of the course This course aims to provide the students with necessary skills to read and analyse daily symbols, signs and images. It also aims to teach them how to assign meanings to symbolic events while generating new meanings and ideas.
Course Content Underlying language of visual communication. Icons, symbols, signs. Visual examples of underlying language of visual communication such as design, photography and advertisements.
