Purpose and Content

The aim of the course The objectives of the course are to enable students: to comprehend the essentials of translation and translation process; to become familiar with the theories in the field to implement such theories to actual and authentic examples
Course Content The course is intended to introduce main issues and development of translation studies; historical theories in translation as well as the modern theories dated back to early twentieth century; the role of a translator and the perception thereof.
