Purpose and Content

The aim of the course This course is designed to provide an introduction to the English novel of the 19th century: Charlotte Brontes, Charles Dickens, William Makepeace Thackeray.
Course Content Selected novels will be read by all students and will serve as the basis for discussion of the special characteristics, qualities and weaknesses of the period's novels.
