Purpose and Content

The aim of the course	The purpose of community service, to examine the importance of the identifying community problems, develop the project for the solution of problems, and analyze the results is to implement the project.
Course Content	Importance of community services applies; to determine current problems of community and to prepare projects for solving those problems; to attend science activities like panel, conference, congress, symposium as viewer, speaker and editor; to attend different projects as voluntary in meaning of social responsibility; the basic information and skills that are about application of community services at schools.

Analyze emerging issues in the field of guidance and psychological counseling.
Use information technologies in research in the related field of guidance and psychological counseling.
Practice analytical thinking and problem solving skills in educational settings.
Evaluate the relations between guidance and psychological counseling and the related fields to take a interdisciplinary approach.
Present individual and group counseling cases at international standards.
Apply specific learning strategies, techniques and methods in guidance and psychological counseling.
Plan future career/academic options considering different alternatives in his/her area.
Take responsible and beneficial actions under all conditions and circumstances.

Practice to give speeches to teachers and parents and students on selected topics.

Use at least one foreign language (European Language Portfolio B1 level) as a way to communicate with colleagues.
Manage interpersonal relations respecting diversity.
Integrate fully as a citizen for community welfare.
Cooperate with counselee’s parents, teachers and/or other health professionals in case of need.
Use information and communication technologies to collaborate with national and international collegues.
Act in accordance with professional ethical values, democracy and human rights.
Establish and maintain a safe environment to serve for personal and organizational aims and objectives.
Apply the principle of "Guidance for all".

Weekly Course Subjects

1	The aim of the course is to inform about the expected work and to examine the IAU directive on community service applications
2	To prepare project proposals within the scope of Community Service Application. Examination of "community service practices" courses applied in different countries and universities over the internet
3	Creating project groups and researching project topics . Getting information about the institution he will visit and making preliminary preparations.
4	Review of Project task allocation and responsibilities and discuss the problems they may face.
5	Determination of the places to be done in the project preliminary studies. Supply of materials for the implementation of the project and distribution of tasks.Jul. Continuing project work within the scope of applications course.
6	Continuing the work of implementing the project and informing project groups in their classes about their work with in-class presentations and directing them with recommendations by the project consultant ,classmates.
7	The Implementation Of The Project Presentation of an interim report to inform the class of projects and work carried out by the coordinators of the project groups and the project consultant .
