Purpose and Content

The aim of the course The aim of this course is to enable teacher candidates to gain knowledge and skills about early intervention of individuals with learning difficulties.
Course Content Definition and causes of learning disabilities, characteristics of children with learning disabilities, early childhood learning disability symptoms, evaluation, diagnosis and evaluation processes for students at risk. Learning difficulties and reading, written expression, mathematics. Basics of success in school for students with learning disabilities, transition services for students with special learning disabilities. Education of children with learning disabilities, use of technology and intervention programs - Interactive Book Reading Program (EKOP) is the content of this course.
