Purpose and Content

The aim of the course Grasp the basic principles of digital systems, digital design principles to perform work. This design of electronic circuits to convert the module. Modular design to give you the skills to students

1Introduction to Digital Systems, Digital concepts, (Digital and Analog Quantities, Binary Digits, Logic Levels, and Digital Waveforms, Basic Logic Functions and Operations)
2Number Systems (Binary,Octal, Decimal,Hexadecimal) and Operations, Code Systems (Binary code systems, Weighted and Nonweighted codes, Error Detection, Alphanumeric Codes, Code converters, Parity Generators / Checkers)
3Boolen Algebra and Logic Gates (Basic Definition, Axiomatic Defination of Boolean Algebra, Basic Theorems and Properties of Boolean Algebra, Boolean Functions, Canonical and Standart Forms, Logic Operations, Digital Logic Gates, Integrated Circuit
4Logic Simplification and gate level minimizations (Boolean Theorems)
5Logic Simplification and gate level minimizations (Karnough Maps)
6Combinational Logic (Introduction to Combinational Logic, Analysis and design procedures, Binary Adder-Subtractor, Decimal Adder)
