Purpose and Content

The aim of the course	The necessity of being creative and critical thinking, aware of the value judgments of the society in which they are able to analyze the changes of educational and scientific concepts, the historical process of education, the changes of education according to the ages and to associate this change with social events, the necessity of being an individual in the awareness of the national and universal values of education system, educate teachers with awareness.
Course Content	Basic concepts of education, relation and functions of education with other sciences, historical development of education science, orientations in educational science in 21st century, research methods in education science, structure and characteristics of Turkish National Education system, role of teacher in education system, characteristics of teaching profession, improvements.

The aim of the course
