Purpose and Content

The aim of the course	The aim of this course is to examine the phenomenon of gender in its conceptual, theoretical, and historical dimensions and to enable students to evaluate gender inequalities, as well as existing and possible efforts to address these inequalities, from a social work perspective.
Course Content	The concept of gender, feminist theories, the relationship between gender and politics, sociology of the body and sexuality, masculinity studies, gender-based violence, social policy, feminist social work intervention, social services for women in Türkiye, and the relationship between gender and development constitute the main content of the course.

Learning Outcomes
