Purpose and Content

The aim of the course The aim of this course is to provide the student with the knowledge and skills to reach the right information, collect the data with scientific validity and analyze it with appropriate statistical methods, and interpret and report the results correctly.
Course Content Confidence limits, chi-square analysis, regression-correlation analysis and advanced SPSS applications in scientific research.

3Summarizing data-tabulated graphs
4Ground measurements (Arithmetic mean, mode, median; calculation of ground measurements from frequency table
5Distribution measures (change width, variance, standard deviation, standard error, coefficient of variation)
6Discrete probability distributions (Binomial and poisson distribution and probability estimation)
7Continuous probability distributions (Probability estimation with normal distribution)
8Hypothesis testing of an average and confidence limits (Z distribution)
