Purpose and Content

The aim of the course The aim of this course is to enable students to practice their theoretical knowledge and skills related to clinical audiology by using the devices in the audiology laboratory, to learn the necessary theoretical knowledge about the application, to learn the purpose and basic principles of the practice. The students are divided into four groups as hearing aid amplification / cochlear implant, vestibular, auditory evoked potentials, audiological tests and they are applied in all devices by rotating between groups at certain weeks.
Course Content Case discussions are made within the scope of the course. Individual skill deficiencies are addressed. Students learn and apply multidisciplinary ethical approach to patient, patient relatives and riyaka. In our Audiology Laboratories, necessary amplification / rehabilitation strategies appropriate to the type of hearing loss and evaluation / rehabilitation processes of individuals with vestibular pathology are performed with cases.
