Purpose and Content

The aim of the course To apply statistical analyzes with SPSS. To teach statistical analysis techniques and to provide correct interpretation of solutions. To provide gains that can perform statistical analyzes in accordance with the research questions.
Course Content Within the scope of the course, data entry, data editing, descriptive statistics, correlation, regression and difference tests will be covered using the SPSS program.

Weekly Course Subjects

1Course introduction, SPSS data view and variable view presentation
2Basic statistical concepts, SPSS data entry, classifying data, sorting, scale determination
3Descriptive statistics (frequency, percentile, average, mode, median, variance, standard deviation, range, maximum-minimum, skewness, kurtosis), missing data editing.
4Editing data (recode, compute, split file, select case)
5Normality assumptions
6Pearson simple linear correlation analysis
7Simple linear regression analysis
