Within the scope of the National Shelter Policy Development Project, we held the first meeting for the preparation of the Strategy Document, which is planned to be completed in 2021, at Yıldız Technical University Davutpaşa Campus on May 25, 2021. As AFAM, the project, which we have been consulting since 2018, is carried out under the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency of the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Interior. Yıldız Technical University Faculty of Civil Engineering Dean and Head of Natural Sciences Research Center Prof. Dr. Şükrü Ersoy, Head of Bezmialem University, Department of Disaster Management, Asst. Prof. Özcan Erdoğan and AFAM Coordinator Serhat Yılmaz attended. Within the scope of the project, we held the second meeting on 25 June 2021 at the central campus of AFAD Presidency in Ankara. AFAD Deputy President İsmail Palakoğlu, AFAD Department Heads, Provincial Disaster and Emergency Managers and project consultants attended.
