On April 16, 2019, we evaluated the new eartquake regulations with the students of the Faculty of Civil Engineering of our university with the panel we held at AFAM organization.

Following the publication of the Turkish Building Eartquake Regulation on 18 March 2018, what the new regulation covers and what has changed according to the old regulation was presented in detail and moderated by AFAM Director Prof. Dr. Mehmet Fatih Altan made it.

Civil Engineer Cevdet Şentürk and Neşe Er Zaman, joined the panel as panelists. The panelists evulated the process from the "Italian Building Instruction for Construction in Quake Zone, which was first received from Italy in 1940, to the last regulation published in 2018."
