Disaster preparedness at the institutional level is a responsibility that must be fulfilled in order to ensure the continuity of post-disaster service. Even if healthcare institutions are victims of disasters, the public will continue to demand services from these institutions. In fact, the fact that this demand will increase more than in normal times is the primary responsibility of institutions working in the disaster preparedness health sector. Istanbul Aydın University Faculty of Dentistry Hospital Bahçelievler Oral and Dental Health Center has started a joint study with the Disaster Training Application and Research Center in order to maximize disaster preparedness as a requirement of this responsibility. Within the scope of the study, a training was held in which all personnel working in Bahçelievler ADSM were informed about what to do before, during and after a possible disaster and emergency.
