Purpose and Content

The aim of the course To provide students with basic knowledge and principles of construction management.
Course Content General preliminary preparations of the construction, location arrangement at the construction site, construction site planning, duties of the construction site manager, construction risks and insurance, subcontractors and the construction site, principles of construction site arrangement and establishment, general and detailed examination of the construction site installation, construction site sheds, quantity calculations according to the item numbers of the building elements, sample Estimation on the project, introduction to construction processes, contract and borrowing and programming, project control estimation, efficiency models and construction econometer. Engineering Economics and Cash Flows, Risk Management, Public Procurement Law, Quality Management, Tenders and Types, Tender Legislation, Contracts and Specifications, Tender Processes, Progress Payments, Provisional and Final Acceptances, Types of Work Programs, Construction of Network Diagrams, Calculation of the Critical Path.
