Purpose and Content

The aim of the course Thanks to this course, it is to provide basic geology knowledge to the students who will become civil engineers and to apply it in the related fields of civil engineering in the light of this information.
Course Content Formation of the World, Evolution, Natural Building Material, Selection of Linear Engineering Building Sites, Occurrence and Prevention of Natural Disasters such as Earthquake-Flood-Landslide-Avalanche, Conducting Experiments, Observations and Calculations related to Carrying power, Determining Excavation Slope Ratios, Understanding the Water-Discontinuity-Clay (SSK) trio, which is the Main Cause of Geotechnical Problems, with Current Examples and related Calculations.
