Should
a borrowed book be lost, the borrower is obliged to replace the same
material, or otherwise borrower shall be charged for cost thereof and a fee
of TRY10. |
Should be
requested to borrow a material which has already been borrowed, it may be
borrowed on the Library Web Site or UBIS. However, if the borrower does not
return the reserved book in time, it is not the responsibility of Library.
Returned materials shall be borrowed in 7 days in Borrowing Desk. If returned
materials are not borrowed in time, they are placed in shelves. |
The borrowing
process must be issued to all materials that will leave the library. |
The user is
responsible, if borrowed books are missing, have missing pages and pages are
worn. The borrower is obliged to buy or provide the same book that he/she has
lost or damaged during his/her time. If the supply of the book is not
possible, the user must pay as much as the present value of the missing book.
The staff at the loan desk is not authorized to make any cancellation or
postponement to overdue fees. |
If the
material is not on the shelf even though it is not borrowed by another user,
help is requested from the loan desk. When the material is found, the reader
is informed and the material is kept in the loan section for 7 days. |
The library
has the right to recall materials when it deems necessary. |
Reference
books (Encyclopedia, dictionary…etc.), periodical publications, nonprint
thesis cannot be loaned |
Since the
library sends informational notes such as return date, delay arrears, and
receipt of reserved material by e-mail, the users must have a valid e-mail
address. |
Students are
required to return the borrowed publications to the library and obtain a
certificate of ‘non-related’ from the library in case of termination of their
relations with the school on graduation or for any reason. |
