About:
In this project, it is aimed to understand the existing prejudices about the integration of international students of black race, who come from different social and cultural backgrounds and differ in their appearance, and to prevent prejudices with the campaign "Together with Differences: Socialize with Someone You Don't Know". The first two stages of the project, which consists of 5 stages, will focus on the prejudices of Social Work Undergraduate and Social Services Associate Degree students, while the last 3 stages will focus on the prejudices of all university students.

Methods:
In the first stage of the research, a questionnaire consisting of Stigma, Perceived Discrimination Against Black Students and Social Distance Scales and demographic information will be applied to social work students. In the second stage of the research, Social Services and Social Work students will be brought together with black and other prejudiced groups, so that they can get to know each other in an academic/social environment and break their prejudices. In the third stage, data will be collected by the students within the scope of Social Work Research Practice I course in randomly selected classes from the whole school. At the same time, data will be collected from volunteer students through an online platform. In the fourth stage of the research, fifty of the students selected from the volunteer lists to be collected through the "Together with Differences: Socialize with Someone You Don't Know" campaign organized by Social Work and Social Services students, together with one social work student and one international student or any other student with a difference, will be able to participate in a social work either inside or outside the school. will attend cultural events (concerts, fairs, festivals, etc.). Observation notes of social work students about the process will be collected as data. In the last stage of the research, structured interviews with students whose social distance was shortened due to their prejudices within the scope of the project will be conducted by the students, and the answer to the question of how far the students who have the opportunity to socialize despite the differences have come in terms of prejudice, stigma and social distance will be investigated.
