​Internal Stakeholders

Registered students, as well as full-time faculty members and other students enrolled in the Health Sciences Faculty, primarily the Club of Social Work and Solidarity and other student clubs, administrative units including the Rectorate, General Secretory, Health Sciences Deanery, other administrative units and research centers including the Coordination Office of Practical Application, Directorate of International Relations, Alumni Association, Erasmus Office, Coordination Office of Women’s Research Center, Online Education Directorate, Coordination Office of Online Education, Coordination Office of Psychological Support and Guidance, Coordination Office of Social Responsibility,   Coordination of Undergraduate Education, Coordination Office of Visual Design; university faculties including Science and Literature Faculty, Law Faculty, Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences, Graduate Studies, university support services including the Department of Information Technology, Department of Library and Documentation, Register’s Office, Department of Health, Culture and Sports, directorates including Directorate of Purchase and Store, Editorial Affairs, Directorate of Office Supply and Inventory, Unit of Scientific Research and Project, Institutional Strategic Planning and University Accreditation Committee  constitute the internal stakeholders. 

The department’s external stakeholders include graduate students, the institutions and organizations that employ and provide internship opportunities for the graduate students such as the Family, Labor and Social Services Ministry, Health Ministry, Justice Ministry, local and district municipalities, civil society actors, social workers in the field, programs of international and local social work departments, the Turkish Association of Social Workers.  More specifically, the public institutions, local municipals and civil society actors that constitute our primary external stakeholder are as follows: Provincial Directorate of Family, Labor and Social Service, Provincial Directorate of Beylikdüzü Social Work Center, Beylikdüzü Retirement Home Elderly Care and Rehabilitation Center, Istanbul Governorship of Poorhouse and Worker’s Shelter, Maltepe University Department of Social Work, the Municipality of Şişli, Directorate of Istanbul Anatolian Probation, the Turkish Alzheimer Association, Turkish Red Crescent, Bağcılar Community Center,  Istanbul Treacher Collins Foundation, the Civil Society Organization of Penal Execution System, the Platform for Femicide (Istanbul),  the Association of Children’s Freedom, the Foundation of Public Volunteers, the Sulukule Volunteers Association, Human Health and Education Association, the Support to Life Human Aid Association, Association for Solidarity with Asylum Seekers and Migrants (ASAM), Association for Struggle against Sexual Violence, Yuva Association, Istanbul Tuberculosis Association, the Headquarters of Turkish Association of Social Workers, Istanbul and Ankara Departments.
